Electrolytes
Electrolytes are minerals that carry an electrical charge when dissolved in fluid. They include sodium, potassium and magnesium and are involved in processes including fluid balance, nerve signalling and normal muscle function.
What does the research say?
When we sweat, we lose both water and electrolytes, particularly sodium. During longer or more intense exercise, replacing sodium alongside fluid can help replace sweat losses and support fluid retention.
Potassium and magnesium also have important physiological roles. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and normal functioning of the nervous system while magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance, normal muscle function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
How much fluid and sodium someone needs varies considerably depending on factors such as exercise duration, intensity, environment and individual sweat rate.

Why they're in our formula
Visible contains sodium, potassium and magnesium. We include electrolytes alongside creatine as part of a formula designed for people who move, bringing together minerals with established physiological roles in hydration, muscle function and normal body function.
What's in one serving?
Sodium Chloride: 800 mg
Potassium Citrate: 400 mg, providing 151.6 mg potassium
Magnesium Glycinate: 320 mg, providing 35.2 mg magnesium
